Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

The Junior Accountant supports the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to develop a career in accounting and finance

Key Responsibilitie

Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger account
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction
Prepare and reconcile bank statements and account balance
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entry.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentations
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulation
Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements as required
Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial report
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of tax regulations and statutory compliance
Experience with ERP system
Professional accounting certification (or pursuing one) is an advantage
